ABOUT 2A PATRIOT:

2A Patriot is a grass roots group that started meeting at a Senior Center with 20 attendees and a container of Meijer cookies.

 
We banded together with a goal of making our county a 2A (Second Amendment) Sanctuary County at the County Commissioners level to combat Red-Flag laws. We accomplished that goal in February of 2020. 

Since then, we have assisted other Michigan counties in doing the same. 

Overall, we have organically grown in our scope to become a more fully realized 2A Organization.

Our main focus is to protect our God-given right to bear arms and to aid our communities in time of emergencies.  To that end, we are working to preserve our gun rights and to strengthen our communities through community service, training, networking, activism, social media presence and in-person events.

 

We also provide opportunities for our members to obtain tools and skills they can use to aid their families and communities in time of emergencies.

 

For the past 20 years the Second Amendment has been under attack.  We are our county's shield from anti-gun laws.  Each time one of these laws is passed it erodes our Second Amendment rights.

 

2A Patriot is working toward

Protecting our Gun Rights by opposing gun control laws and supporting Constitutional Carry,

Protecting our families and neighborhoods,

Protecting our Constitutional Rights,

Helping to get pro-Constitution and pro-Second Amendment politicians elected,

Helping Michigan Counties to become Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties. 

 

2A Patriot protects the Second Amendment because we know that the 2nd Amendment protects all other amendments in the Constitution.
